In the Department of Life Sciences of the Research Center of the National Museum of Natural History we are dedicated to the scientific study of biodiversity. This mission is achieved through scientific collections of plants and animals, research projects and databases.
We use a multidisciplinary approach to study a wide variety of organisms and ecosystems and their evolution.
We are doing cutting edge research in collaboration with European universities and the research center of the MNHNL serves as a research platform for master students, doctoral and postdoctoral researchers.
We favor a philosophy of research and student training that emphasizes the ethical responsibilities of scientists to their colleagues, civil society and the natural environment.
